JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) collaborated to host a noteworthy event called ‘ECORUN 2013’ at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka. The event aimed to promote fuel-efficient cars in Bangladesh and garnered the participation of 15 teams from six esteemed engineering universities and colleges. Each team competed to design and construct the most fuel-efficient vehicles across two categories:
- Three-Wheelers
- Four-Wheelers.
In the Three-Wheeler category, Rajshahi University of Engineering Technology’s (RUET) TEAM AVENGERS achieved an impressive 2nd position. The event was generously sponsored by WALTON, who provided 1500 CC engines for the competition.
